What's it all about I don't get it

Appknowledged is a buyers and sellers platform for people content and who want to learn, develop and improve development skills. As well as sharing skills you can also sell content of your own.

Posts are made up of the very content they contain, so these can be anything from tips & tricks with code snippets, courses, course material etc.

You can sell content via adding purchase value and setting up subscriptions, meaning people can access all your content. You can also buy and subscribe to other peoples content to.

Selling content

Can I set up different subscription prices for different people?

Unfortunately you can only set one price at any given point for all subscribers. You can however change the amount, you may want to do this for example if the quantity of your content is more than it used to be for example.

If someone leaves me a bad review can I remove it?

Ultimately this can be difficult, but what might be considered as a bad but a constructive review then this cannot be removed. However if the review given is unfair or unconstructive to anyone else then we look to remove any comments from the review.

We will moderate all reviews for distasteful language and aggression and remove them automatically.

If I want to promote my content to someone not on Appknowledged how can I do that?

We do provide you with the facility copy a link for external services. If you locate and open your post from anywhere then you can market your material by copying the link and pasting anywhere.

How long does it take for me to get payment for purchases and subscriptions

Usually 2 - 5 working days

Can select only some posts to be included for my subscribers

You can only set 1 subscription for all your content.

Can I set up my posts to be subscription only

Unfortunaly if your looking to monetize your work then you will have to offer a one time purchase fee for each post. We encourage this as I'm sure you can understand to make a flexible market.

Buying Content

If I purchase a buyers content and then later subscribe to them, do I get a refund on the original purchase?

Unfortunately we cannot refund any fees if you have purchased any content. You however do have lifetime access regardless if the post has been removed or you have unsubscribed.

However you can if you feel you need a refund of the sellers fees discuss and negotiate this with the seller. However this is at the discretion between you and the seller.

Can I cancel subscriptions to buyers

Yes whenever you like

What happens if I'm subscribed to a developer and they update their price

This means your current subscription price will be updated. The price to have access to all the subscribers content can change along with the value and quantity.

We will however inform you of any price changes and you can cancel at any time.

If someone removes a post I have purchased do I still have access to it.

Yes, the way we see this is you make a lifetime purchase and we encourage people to make posts with keeping them live. However if a post is removed from sale by the seller and no longer available for others to buy you still have access.

What if someone changes a post I have brought or subscribed to

There is not a lot that we can do if perhaps something has been edited or removed from a post that previously helped you. However we do need to give people the opportunity to upgrade and improve their content.

However we do have amazing features inside a post such as the comments section to raise any concerns and ask questions.

Does any of my purchases include time from developers

No it's just for the content, however any personal time spent developing for you can be between you and the content provider.

What happens if I have a dispute with someone regarding their content

Just email us at [email protected] we will do the best can to resolve the issue between you and the seller
